The challenge
The business kept its records across Tally and Zoho. Each system had its own reports, but neither could show the full picture, and the two used different structures for ledgers, items and customers.
Every month the finance team exported data from both, cleaned it in Excel and stitched the MIS together by hand. It took days, and by the time management saw the numbers they were already out of date.
What we built
- Zenith 360 connects to Tally and Zoho through their APIs and data interfaces and collects data on a schedule.
- Ledgers, cost centres, items and customers from both systems are mapped into one common structure inside Zenith 360.
- History is kept, so trends and period comparisons are always available.
- Zenith 360 presents the MIS: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash position, receivables and payables ageing, and sales analysis, with drill-down to the transactions behind each figure.
- The monthly MIS pack comes from Zenith 360 instead of spreadsheets.
The result
Management sees combined, current figures from Tally and Zoho in one place, and the monthly MIS no longer depends on days of manual work.
